Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State. Perused the records.
By means of this Application, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., applicant has invoked the inherent jurisdiction of this Court, for a direction to the court below, i.e., Additional District Judge, Court no.5, Kanpur Nagar, to decide, S.T. No. 181 of 2017, State Vs. Sudhir Kumar Yadav and others, under Sections 498A, 302, 120-B IPC, read with Section 3/4 of D.P. Act, pending in the Court of Additional District Judge, Court no.5, Kanpur Nagar, since 2017, expeditiously, within a time bound period.
Expeditious disposal of a case is the right of every litigant and it is expected from every court to endeavour to dispose of a case pending before it, as expeditiously as possible, without granting unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties. Therefore, the court below is directed to make all possible efforts to decide the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible, without giving any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
With the aforesaid direction, this application is finally disposed of.
