Petitioner submits that since Divorce Petition No. 1447 of 2015 (Aman Chaudhary vs. Smt. Ambika Chaudhary) under Section 13-A of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, is pending before the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Meerut, a direction be issued to learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Meerut to decide pending case expeditiously.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Meerut to decide the aforesaid case within a period of one year from the date of issuance of computer generated copy of this order in PDF form. For the aforesaid purpose, petitioner shall appear before the concerned authority/court on 18.11.2020 . It is made clear that none for the counsel shall be permitted to any undue adjournment without imposing heavy cost. The court has not expressed any opinion on merit of the case.
