In this petition the petitioners have sought the following relief:
" (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of issue an adinterim mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the claim of petitioners contained in representation dated 23.01.2019 for being removal of the illegal shops from the Footpath or Wending Zone of Sector-18 & 19, Kumbh Mela, Prayagraj, so that justice may be done."
Learned Standing Counsel states that Kumbh Mela has come to an end.
In view of the above, no cause of action survives. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
