This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief;
"a. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue passport in favour of the petitioner forthwith."
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Vijay Raj Pal, learned counsel for the Respondents No. 1 and 2 and perused the record.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has very fairly admitted that the petitioner has not yet filed any application before the concerned authority for issuance of passport.
In view of the above, we do not see any justification to interfere in the matter.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed as premature.
