Present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution has been filed for the following reliefs:
"A. issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.3 to take decision on the mutation application dated 29.3.2019 filed in pursuance of the jugment dated 6.3.2019, passed by Hon'ble Board of Revenue, U.P. Allahabad in Revision No.2889 of 2018, Computerised Number AL20180225002889 (Kusum Chandra Versus State of Uttar Pradesh) (Annexure 4 to this writ petition) within some short stipulated period as this Hon'ble Court deems just and proper."
The sole prayer of the petitioners is for a direction upon respondent no.3 to decide the mutation application, which is pending since 29.3.2019.
In view of the above, respondent no.3 is directed to decide the mutation application of the petitioners in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
