Heard Shri Krishna Mohan, learned counsel for petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos. 1, 3 and 4 and Shri Ashok Pandey, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 2 and 5.

Present petition has been filed seeking a direction upon respondent Nos.1 and 2 to decide the representation pending regarding payment of compensation. Petitioners are bhumidhar of Khata No.123, Gata Nos.369 and 370 situated at Mauza Nagla Hasanpur, Tehsil Chhatta, District Mathura.

The respondent No.2, i.e, National Highway Authority of India acquired agricultural land of petitioners in the year 2013 after notification under Section 3A was made.

Petitioners had moved a representation on 21.05.2015 claiming compensation under Section 3 of the Act. According to petitioners, they are not being paid compensation on current market value, as claimed by them for the land of which physical possession has also been taken.

Having heard learned counsel for the parities, we are of the view that no useful purpose will be served in keeping

the matter pending. As such, we direct the respondentauthorities to decide representation of petitioners in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of .
