This writ petition, inter alia , has been filed for the following reliefs:

" To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the State Government i.e. Principal Secretary Additional Chief Secretary, Political Pension Anubhag-3, U.P. Government, Lucknow to ensure that appropriate orders are passed for releasing petitioner's honour money within the time to be specified by the Hon'ble Court.

To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Collector/District Magistrate, Basti to ensure monthly amount of honour sanctioned to petitioner since the year 2006 is paid regularly as and when it is was due."

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. Kirtika Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondent no. 2 ventilating his grievances within two weeks from today along with a certified copy of this order enclosing therewith a copy of the writ petition and

its Annexures and, if any such representation is made, the said authority shall make all endeavour to consider and decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within four weeks from the date of receipt of the said representation.
