By means of the present petition, petitioner has come in the present writ petition with a sole prayer that a direction be issued to the respondent no.2, i.e., Commissioner Azamgarh Region, Azamgarh to decide the appeal bearing Nos. 275/A/2018 and 427/A of 2018 under Section 13(1) of Uttar Pradesh Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale and Distribution Control) Act pending before him within time bound period.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and with the consent of the parties, without adverting into merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2, i.e., Commissioner Azamgarh Region, Azamgarh to decide the appeal bearing Nos. 275/A/2018 and 427/A of 2018 under Section 13(1) of Uttar Pradesh Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale and Distribution Control) Act pending before him within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
