The present writ petition was filed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent to conclude the reference proceedings pending before him since 18.4.1984.
It appears that the writ petition has become infructuous by efflux of time and is therefore dismissed as infructuous.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
However, in case the cause of action for filing the present writ petition still survives, the petitioner shall have the liberty to file recall application praying for recall of the present order.
