The petitioner claims to have married Saeed Hussain Khan, a retired employee of Government Inter College, Bareilly. It is alleged that the first wife of Saeed Hussain Khan died in the year 2010. The petitioner is claiming family pension on basis of Government Order dated 25.6.1991 which entitles widow of a government servant to family pension even if the marriage took place after retirement of the government servant.
Learned standing counsel states that the grievance of the petitioner would be examined by the second respondent within such time as may be directed by this Court.
Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the instant petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the second respondent with a certified copy of this order and a fresh representation. In that event, the same shall be decided by means of a speaking order, expeditiously, preferably within next twelve weeks.
