Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent states that subject to all contentions on merit being left open and the respondents having liberty to verify all facts including whether any orders of punishment operate against the petitioners, the said respondent shall duly evaluate the claim of the petitioners for promotion and dispose of the same in accordance with law and preferably within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly and without going into the merits or otherwise of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in view of the statement made and noted.
