A perusal of order sheet reveals that since after obtaining an interim order on 5.8.2014, counsel for the petitioners is getting the matter adjourned by repeatedly sending illness slips. On 25.9.2018, this Court, noticing the conduct of counsel for the petitioners, passed the following order:-
"Vide order dated 28.8.2018 the case was directed to be listed peremptorily, however, it has not been listed peremptorily.
Now today again Sri Anupam Laloriya, learned counsel for the petitioners has sent his illness slip.
In the interest of justice, the case is passed over for the day.
Office is directed to list this case immediately after two weeks peremptorily as already directed by this Court."
Today again illness slip has been sent, which is strongly opposed by counsel for the respondents.
Since on the previous date, the case was directed to be listed peremptorily, therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the illness slip, as the petitioners should have made alternative arrangement in case their counsel was ill.
The petition is accordingly dismissed for want of prosecution.
