Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of Nagar Nigam, Prayagraj.

It is the case of petitioner that she is widow of one Vinod who was appointed as a Safaikarmi in 1983, which is a Class – IV post. He died in harness on 15.10.2018. The petitioner being legal heir was entitled to the benefits of service of her husband. She made a representation on 22.11.2018 for payment of amount of insurance, arrears of salary, leave encashment, gratuity and other benefits. Her representation has yet not been decided.

The learned counsel for respondents No. 2 and 3, Mr. Pramod Kumar Singh, has pointed out that the petitioner has only made a representation on 22.11.2018 and has not waited for sufficient time to elapse for any action to be taken by the respondents.

Without entering into the merits of controversy, the writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondent No. 2 to call for a report from the respondent No. 3 and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the authority concerned.
