Petitioners have preferred present Public Interest Litigation for the following relief:-
"(i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 17.8.2016 passed by the respondent no.3.
(ii) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to take legal action against the respondent no.5 to 8 regarding possession of public utility land.
(iii) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioners (annexure no.5) within specific period as directed by this Hon'ble Court."
Petitioners have not made a declaration in terms of Sub-rule 3-A of Rule 1 of Chapter XXII of the Allahabad High Court Rules.
In view of the above, we decline to interfere in the matter.
Accordingly, the Public Interest Litigation is dismissed , leaving it open to the petitioner to file a better petition.
