Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned AGA for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the First Information Report dated 10th January, 2019 registered as Case Crime No.18 of 2019, under Section 3/5/8 Cow Slaughter Act, police station Ushait, district Badaun.
A perusal of the impugned First Information Report reveals that three accused were apprehended on spot in the act of making pieces of animal, with beef. On there confessional statement complicity of the petitioner came to light as a person having meat shop and purchasing animals and providing to the apprehended accused persons for slaughter.
In view of the above, the prayer of the petitioner to quash the First Information Report or to interfere with the investigation cannot be accepted.
The petition is dismissed. The petitioner may apply for bail.
