A counter affidavit has been filed today by the Investigating Officer of the case. In paragraph 6 of the counter affidavit, it has been submitted that after investigation, final report has been submitted vide Final Report No.1 of 2018 dated 24.08.2018.
In view of the above, the petition has been rendered infructuous. In case any adverse action is taken against the petitioners on the final report, it shall be open to the petitioners to take recourse to appropriate remedy in the appropriate jurisdiction.
With the aforesaid liberty, the petition is disposed off .
