5. On 27.04.2011, Inspector Mahendra Nath Verma (PW-9) copied the Inquests in case diary and recorded statements of Jas Karan Singh, Smt. Jai Devi, Smt. Kunti Devi, Smt. Vitola Devi and Shyam Singh, from their statements, names of Dharmveer Gupta, Arvesh Gupta @ Mirchi Lal and Udaiveer were surfaced. On 28.04.2001, he recorded statement of Raj Bahadur Sharma, before whom, the accused allegedly made extra-judicial confession and searched the accused. On 01.05.2001, he recorded statement of Smt. Krishna. On 02.05.2001, he recorded statement of Anil Kumar. He arrested the accused Dharmveer and Arvesh Gupta @ Mirchi Lal on 03.05.2001 and recorded their statements. They confessed their guilt. On the pointing out of Dharmveer, he recovered Rs. 10,000/- from the room of Mirchi Lal and prepared its recovery memo (Ex-Ka-10). He copied postmortem reports in case diary on 06.05.2001. He recorded statements of the witnesses Vidya Kumari, Abdul Rehman, Arun Kumar Singh and Ram Shankar Gupta on 13.05.2001. He arrested the accused Udayveer Yadav on 29.05.2001 and recorded his statement. He recorded statements of Ram Saran and Balram and inspected the place of recovery and prepared its site-plan (Ex-Ka-22). He recorded statement of Branch Manager, Rural Development Bank, Madanpur on 30.05.2001 and collected status of the bank account of Arvesh Gupta, in which Rs. 2500/- was deposited on 26.04.2001. After completing investigation, he submitted charge sheet (Ex-Ka-24) against the accused, on which cognizance was taken.
