Heard learned counsel for the applicant, Sri I.P. Srivastava, the learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.
The instant application has been moved seeking anticipatory bail in light of the apprehension of the arrest of the applicant in Case Crime No. 0445 of 2019, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 I.P.C., police station Gunnaur, District Sambhal.
The allegations made in the F.I.R. clearly allude to a larger scam unfolding in district Sambhal where on the basis of forged and fabricated documents death insurance benefits have been claimed by the accused. The applicant has been linked in the commission of the crime as being one of the persons who had advised the co-accused Deepak Gupta to obtain the requisite documents and to thereafter obtain death insurance benefits. Bearing in mind the seriousness of the allegations which are levelled and the nature of the scam which is alluded to, it would be inappropriate for this Court to accord the facility of the anticipatory bail to the applicant. The prayer so made is refused.
The application consequently stands rejected .
