Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA for the State and perused the record.

This application under Section 482 CrPC has been filed by the applicant with a prayer to direct the learned Additional Court No.4, Kanpur Nagar to decide the Complaint Case No. 158 of 2016 (Dharmendra Kumar Vs. Imtiyaz Ahamad), under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, Police Station Raipurwa, District Kanpur Nagar within stipulated period.

Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the complaint has been filed by the applicant on 03.03.2016 and the proceeding has been pending since then and has been lingeringon, on one pretext or the other.

In view of the provision of Section 143(3) of the Negotiable Instruments Act, learned Additional Court No.4, Kanpur Nagar is expected to make all endeavours to decide the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of filing of certified copy of this order without giving any unnecessary adjournments to either parties and there is no other legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case.

With the aforesaid direction, this application under Section 482 CrPC is finally disposed of.
