Heard Sri Pramod Shukla, learned counsel for the applicant, Sri Amit Kumar Singh, learned A.G.A. appearing for the State and perused the record.

This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C has been moved with a prayer to direct the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Baghpat, to expedite the proceedings in Criminal Case No.4587 of 2017 (State Vs. Peetam Dhaka and others), pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Baghpat arising out of Case Crime No. 0063 of 2017, under Sections 323, 504, 452, 506 and 354-B IPC, P.S. Balaini, District Baghpat within a stipulated period.

Learned counsel for the applicant has argued that the Trial Court has not taken any concrete steps to decide the case expeditiously hence, a direction may be issued for deciding the same within a stipulated time. He has also annexed a certified copy of the order-sheet beginning from 3.5.2017 to 27.3.2019.

Perusal of the order sheet, it appears that the case is running in remaining evidence.

In view of the above, the Trial Court is directed to decide the case expeditiously within the a period of six months from receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment. The applicant shall file copy of this
