Mr. S.C. Pandey, learned counsel has filed his Vakalatnama on behalf of opposite party No. 2, which is taken on record.
This application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below to decide the Criminal Case No. 224 of 2017 (State vs Prem Prakash) arising out of Case Crime No. 107 of 2012, under Section 135/138 Electricity Act, police station Raya, district Mathura pending in the court of Special Judge, Mathura expeditiously.
Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned counsel for opposite party No. 2 and the learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the State.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, the concerned Court below is directed to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months fixing short dates, if there is no legal impediment. It is further directed that the parties shall cooperate in the proceeding and no unnecessary adjournment will be sought/granted.
With the above observations, the application stands disposed of.
