The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No.276 of 2014 instituted by the petitioner against the defendant-respondents within a specified time frame.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that issues were framed on 5.10.2016. The trial court on 18.10.2017 allowed amendment in the plaint and granted time to the defendants to file additional written statement. Dates are now being fixed for framing of additional issues.
Having regard to the fact that the suit is pending since the year 2014, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties.
