Heard Shri Lal Mani Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondents.

The petitioner in seeking a direction to the respondents to release her land being Arazi No. 13 Kha area 0.060 hectare situated in village Bagdaudhi Kachhar, Pargahi Kachhar, District Kanpur Nagar from acquisition proceedings and to denotify the same and also record the name of the petitioner in the revenue record as owner in possession. In respect of her grievance, the petitioner is stated to have preferred a representation before the respondent no. 1 on 11.7.2018, Annexure-7 to the writ petition, but the same is still pending.

No useful purpose would be served in keeping this writ petition pending.

This writ petition is therefore disposed of with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties with a direction that if the petitioner prefers a fresh representation before the respondent no. 1 Principal Secretary, Irrigation Department, Lucknow alongwith certified copy of this order raising all her grievances as raised in the writ petition within fifteen days from today, the same shall be considered and decided by the respondent no 1 in accordance with law within a further period of four months.

It is made clear that the court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merit.
