This petition for writ is preferred with a prayer as follows:-

"i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing/commanding the respondent no. 1, 2 and 4 to pay adequate compensation to the tune of Rs. 20,00,000/(Rupees Twenty lakhs) to the petitioner, (father of the deceased) for the death due to electrocution of his son for the fault of the electricity department.

ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing/commanding the respondent no. 2 to pay to the petitioner the money under the Kisan Beema Yojna on the tragic death of his son, due to electrocution without his any fault.

iii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing/commanding the respondent no. 5, 6 to take adequate action against the authorities and employees of the electricity department who were responsible for such grave failure of their duty leading to the death of the son of the petitioner.

iv) Issue such other writ, order or directions as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case; AND

v) To award cost of the Petition to the petitioner."

Having considered the nature of dispute we deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition by directing the Executive Engineer, Electricity Distribution Division-2, George Town, Allahabad

(respondent no. 6) to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner as agitated in this writ petition in accordance with law provided the petitioner submits a detailed representation ventilating his grievances to the Executive Engineer, Electricity Distribution Division-2, George Town, Allahabad along with certified copy of this order within a period of one month from today. The Executive Engineer, Electricity Distribution Division-2, George Town, Allahabad one receiving of such representation shall consider and to decide the same in accordance with law within a period of one month subsequent thereto.
