The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with a prayer to direct the District Magistrate, Kasganj-respondent no. 2 to consider the transfer application of fire arm licence of the father of the petitioner in his favour which is pending since 21.07.2017.
The counsel for the petitioner is relying upon Government order dated 3.6.1998, which relates to transfer of fire arm licence in favour of successor within a period of 30 days. Petitioner's application was filed on 21.07.2017.
The writ petition is disposed of directing the District Magistrate to consider and pass an appropriate order on the transfer application filed by the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order before the authority concerned.
