This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:-
"i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to finalize the tender process for parking slot of Somdutt Plaza, under Zone-I Nagar Nigam Kanpur for financial year 2018-19 by issuing work order."
Sri Vivek Verma, learned counsel appearing for the Nagar Nigam, Kanpur states that a decision shall be taken at an early date, if it has not already been taken.
This petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the respondent-Authority to take a decision with regard to finalization of the tender process for parking slot, if it has not already been taken, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed by the petitioner.
It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, which shall be examined by the respondent-Authority in accordance with law.
