This writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing the Regional Manager (respondent-3) to decide the representations of the petitioner dated 24.2.2017 and 28.8.2017.
It has been stated that the petitioner was appointed as Driver in U.P. State Road Transport Corporation Ltd. He met with an accident and got his treatment at Sarojini Naidu Hospital and Medical College, Agra. After treatment, he joined the services, along with medical certificate on 4.1.2017. Under the Circular of the Department, the petitioner is entitled for light duty, instead of driving duty, but no order has been passed on the representation of the petitioner. The petitioner filed a reminder in this respect on 28.8.2017 also.
The writ petition is disposed of directing Regional Manager (respondent-3) to pass appropriate order on the representations of the petitioner dated 24.2.2017 and 28.8.2017, in accordance with law, within two months from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before him.
