The writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing Executive Engineer (respondent-4) to ensure that service book of the petitioner containing correct description and, deduction details may be forwarded by him to Executive Engineer, Electricity Urban Distribution Division, Ghantaghar, Meerut (respondent-5) and respondent-5 be directed to ensure payment of the amount of gratuity and entire leave encashment and retiral dues to the petitioner.
It is stated that the Executive Engineer, Electricity Distribution Division,Baraut, district Baghpat (respondent-4) is not proceeding in the matter. Therefore, post retiral dues of the petitioner is neither finalized nor paid to the petitioner although petitioner retired from service on 31.8.2009. The petitioner has moved a representation before Managing Director(respondent2).
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to Managing Director (respondent-2) to pass a reasoned and speaking order on the representation of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
