By means of present writ petition, the petitioner has sought following reliefs:
"It, is therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issuea writ of certiorary or any other writ or order or direction quashing the order dated 04.05.2006 (Annexure-15) passed by the respondent no. 2 rejecting the petitioner's representation for the payment of his salary and back wages and be pleased to issue direction to the respondents nos. 2 and 3 for the early payment of arrears of back wages along with interest and for the payment of current salary regularly to the petitioner and to continue him on the post of Chaukidar till a regular posting is done in that place and be pleased to passed such other suitable order direction which the Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
I have examined the order impugned, pleadings and grounds raised in the writ petition and have perused the records. The writ petition is of the year 2006 and it appears that either writ petition is rendered infructuous due to efflux of time or petitioner is no more interested in pursuing the writ petition.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed .
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
