The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a direction to the respondents to permit him to appear in the next level examination 2017 for the post of Range Forrest Officer.
Counsel for the parties, however, disclosed that after filing of the writ petition, the result has been declared on 03.09.2018 and the petitioner has been selected.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, therefore, states that the writ petition has become infructuous and the same may be dismissed as infructuous.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed as having become infructuous.
