This petition has been filed seeking following reliefs:-

"(a). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents to pay the full/regular pension to the petitioner since 1.1.2006 to till the date according to report of Sixth Pay Commission.

(b). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 12.1.2018 of the petitioner regarding payment of full/regular pension to the petitioner since 1.1.2006 to till date according to report of Sixth Pay Commission."

Learned Standing Counsel states that description of respondent no.3 in the petition is incorrect and that is why the officer could not be intimated.

Petitioner is permitted to correct description of respondent no.3 in the array of the parties.

Learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions states that petitioner's claim is being examined and since he has retired in 1989 from a different division, therefore, sometime is being consumed in processing his revised pension. Submission is that the claim shall be dealt with within a reasonable period.

In view of the stand taken by respondents, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent nos.3 and 4 to ensure that petitioner's claim for revision of his pension, pursuant to Sixth & Seventh Pay Commission report, is finalized, within a period of six weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. The amount which is found due and payable shall be processed and released within a further period of two months thereafter.
