Counsel for the parties have agreed for disposal of this writ petition with the following observations:
The petitioners shall not have any objection for establishing and developing 'waste to energy plant' and sanitary land fill in Sector 123, NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh, at the site earmarked in Master Plan 2031. We hope and trust that the respondent-Authority while establishing and developing the plant and land fill, shall strictly adhere to the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, as directed by the National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi, in Original Application No. 342 of 2018, vide order dated 29.05.2018. If there is any violation of the prescribed norms and the rules of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, it is open to the petitioners to approach the National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi, for appropriate relief/order. Petition is accordingly disposed of.
