This Criminal revision has been preferred against judgment and order dated 17.5.1999 passed by Xth Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ghaziabad in Criminal Appeal No.51 of 1995(Ram Sharan alias Annu vs. State of U.P.) affirming the order dated 28.9.1995 passed IXth Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ghaziabad in Criminal Case No. 1892 of 1994(State of U.P. V.s Ram Sharan alias Annu), Police Station Masoori, District Ghaziabad convicting and sentencing accused/revisionist under Section 279 and 304 A IPC for one year simple imprisonment with fine of Rs.2,000/- and in case of failure to deposit fine, six month' simple imprisonment in addition thereto.
According to report of CJM, Agra dated 2.7.2018, accused revisionist Ram Sharan died on 23.10.2012. Death Certificate Registration No. 124 dated 18.4.2018 issued by Executive Officer, Hapur, Nagreeya Vikas Department, Nagarpalika Parishad, Hapur, District Hapur on report of Pravesh Kumar Sharma, Kendra Prabhari is annexed with the report of CJM.
No fruitful purpose would be served to keep this revision pending. The revision is dismissed as abated.
