Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents.
The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the prayer to direct the respondent police authorities to investigate the case Crime No. 0222 of 2018, under Sections 147, 307, 323, 504 and 506 I.P.C., police station Manjhanpur, district Kaushambi pursuant to the first information report lodged on 27.5.2018. It is further prayed that the police authorities be also directed to arrest the accused persons in the aforesaid case.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the first information report was lodged against the named accused persons and unknown persons in respect of hurling bomb upon the petitioner. The accused persons used vituperative words and had extended threat to life. The first information report was lodged on 27.5.2018 under Sections 147, 307, 323, 504 and 506 I.P.C. but till date neither the accused persons have been arrested nor the investigation has been concluded. The petitioner is facing untold harassment at the hands of the accused persons. There is threat to his life.
Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, it is provided that the Superintendent of Police, Kaushambi, respondent no. 2, shall look into the matter and shall ensure that the investigation be carried out in a fair and impartial manner and concluded at the earliest preferably within three months.
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
