Heard Mr. Neeraj Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Deepak Mishra, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondent nos. 2&3 to conclude fair and prompt investigation in Case Crime No. 572 of 2017, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 120B, 34 IPC, P.S. Nauchandi, District Meerut.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is informant of the case. He has lodged the present F.I.R. on 2.11.2017 against the named persons for double murder case but till date the investigation of the present case has not been concluded, hence he has come up before this Court by filing the present petition.

Learned A.G.A. states that investigation is still pending.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties, we direct the Investigating Officer of the present case to conclude the investigation of the present case and submit a police report before the Magistrate concerned expeditiously preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order in accordance with law.

The S.S.P., Meerut shall ensure the compliance of present order within the aforesaid period.

With the aforesaid order, the present petition stands disposed of.
