As per office report dated 22.6.2017, report of the C.J.M.,Azamgarh dated 25.1.2017 has been received regarding death of sole appellant- Nanda.
This appeal was filed against the judgment and order dated 25.8.1984 passed by VIth Additional Sessions Judge, Azamgarh in S.T. No. 142 of 1984, State Vs. Nanda and another, whereby the appellant-Nanda was convicted under section 395 IPC and sentenced to five years' R.I. thereunder.
Since the sole appellant Nanda is reported to be dead, the appeal stands abated.
No order as to costs.
